Cornelian Taurus Ogata Tote M

This tote bag(size M) is a collaboration bag created in response to a request from OGATA Paris, which proposes Japan food and lifestyle, located in the center of the North Marais district of Paris, France, which opened in January 2020 and is located on Rue de Velème, which has been designated as a conservation area.

This leather bag is based on the design of OGATA Paris' customer paper bag.

It is a boat-shaped type that emphasizes the horizontal length like a small boat in Japan, and adds a function as a bag that Cornelian Taurus is good at to a sophisticated and simple design.

Like the OGATA Paris paper bag, it can be used as a boat, but if you raise the washi leather with the texture of leather on the inside of the bag upward, it becomes the size of a general hand-held tote bag, and it transforms into a size that can hold A4 size, 13-inch laptops, small items, etc.

The height of the washi leather part can be freely adjusted, and you can change the height to your liking depending on the amount of storage. When using it in the shape of a boat, fold it with the image of laying this washi leather on the bottom. (Please refer to the posted photo for details)

Washi leather is very thin and soft, and the more you use it, the more wrinkles appear like crumpled washi paper, and you can enjoy its texture.

Even when used in the shape of a boat, the gusset width and horizontal design make it easy to store wallets, accessories, smartphones, etc., and can be worn on the shoulder. The built-in magnet allows you to maintain a well-formed shape. A removable underlayment is also included.

The base of the handle is knitted with the brand's iconic pattern, adding a moderate accent to the bag and a role as a reinforcement for the handle, and it can also be used for heavy belongings.

Not only is the paper bag made of leather, but the material is a dignified black leather that has been vegetable tanned in Japan.
